The Commercial Court has dismissed a claim brought by Tigris International NV against China Southern Airlines, in which Tigris claimed damages of $50 million for alleged breach of contract, inducement of breach of contract and conspiracy arising out of an agreement for the sale of six Airbus aircraft. Bankim Thanki QC and David Murray (instructed by DLA Piper) successfully represented China Southern in this 3-week trial.
