Clerking Team

The clerking team is led by Alex Taylor who is widely recognised as one of the best in the industry, with Katie Szewczyk and Sian Huckett as Deputy Senior Clerks.

Business Development & Marketing Team

Our experienced and award nominated business development and marketing team is led by Helen Griffiths, and is responsible for all client development, business development and marketing activities.

Working closely with our clerking team, they plan and oversee the execution of various initiatives including in relation to our sophisticated client programmes and practice area focused business planning, as well as in relation to our social media presence and events management.

Business Support Team

The roles performed within our highly respected administration or ‘business support’ team, led by Julie Parker, include finance; insurance; IT services; HR, equality, diversity and inclusion; recruitment; maintenance of our historic buildings; reception; catering; security and procurement.

Our experienced team provides a smooth and efficient service meaning that clients and barristers can enjoy access to first class facilities. As a leading set we believe in providing the best possible quality of service all round.

Work Experience

As part of our ongoing efforts to encourage those from non-traditional backgrounds to consider a career in Chambers, we offer work experience opportunities to year 10 to year 13 students.

Students will have the opportunity to try out a range of roles within administration, business development, clerking, finance, IT and marketing. Candidates do not need to know anything about the law or barristers’ chambers and will be given the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a barristers’ chambers.

Due to promotions, we are recruiting for a Junior Clerk. We are looking for team members who have a passion for providing a first-class service, with excellent communication skills and a strong academic record (A level or equivalent minimum; please note we will accept predicted grades).
