Commenting on joining Fountain Court, Ian Benjamin SC said:

“It is a privilege to join one of the foremost magic circle sets in London.  I have worked with several members of Fountain Court over the years and look forward to deepening that association over the years to come.”

Head of Chambers, Bankim Thanki QC, said:

“It is a great pleasure to welcome one of the foremost practitioners in the Caribbean as a member of Fountain Court. Ian has a stellar practice in Trinidad and Tobago and other Caribbean jurisdictions and will be a tremendous addition to our distinguished line-up of door tenants.  I had the privilege of working with Ian for many years on behalf of the Central Bank in the long running CLICO enquiry under the chairmanship of the late Sir Anthony Colman and got to know Ian and his qualities very well.  He is, in short, a superstar and I am delighted that Ian has accepted our invitation to join Fountain Court.”
