Fountain Court has had four members placed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list of the new Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2016’s guide to outstanding lawyers in the Asia Pacific region and has been ranked as one of the top sets for commercial international Arbitration, celebrated for ‘making great inroads in picking up instructions in Singapore’.

The ranked members of Chambers are: Michael Brindle QC, Stephen Moriarty QC, Bankim Thanki QC and Jeffrey Chapman QC.

Fountain Court’s history in Singapore is a long and illustrious one and arbitration is a core practice area. Many members have a wide range of experience acting in arbitrations, acting in litigation arising out of arbitrations, and sitting as arbitrators.

As well as recent arbitrations in Singapore, members are instructed in similar cross-border disputes seated in other parts of Southeast Asia and around the world.

Head of Chambers Stephen Moriarty QC and former Head Michael Brindle QC have been appointed to the panel of advisors to the Attorney-General of Singapore.

With Singapore’s emergence as the legal hub in the Asia Pacific region hosting SIAC, SIMC and SICC, Fountain Court looks forward to continuing its strong working relationships with the legal and business communities in the region.
