Fountain Court congratulates John Taylor on his appointment as Queen’s Counsel in the 2012-13 competition.

Called to the Bar in 1993, John has been recommended by the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners directories as a leading junior in the fields of banking, finance, commercial litigation and aviation.  His practice includes substantial experience working as part of solicitor/counsel teams on large-scale litigation as well as appearing as an advocate in his own right in the High Court, arbitrations and market tribunals.

John has been described by solicitors as “outstandingly good’’ and “a good man to have on your side in a difficult case,” as he is a “determined and doughty advocate.”

John will formally become a Silk when he makes his declaration before the Lord Chancellor at a ceremony on 27 March.
