Fountain Court is delighted that Patricia Robertson QC has been recognised in The Lawyer’s ‘Hot 100’ publication for 2011. The annual publication lists lawyers who are reckoned to be at the top of their game and whose run looks set to continue. Those featured this year have consistently demonstrated “imagination… nimbleness and innovation”.
The Lawyer says of Patricia that she “hit her stride in 2010, dealing with major litigation spilling out of the recession” and notes that “her broad-based practice means she has been well-placed to advise major banking clients on many of the problem areas that have been generating disputes, from professional negligence to regulatory to commercial.” In addition, The Lawyer recognised Patricia as being “at the forefront of developments in the implementation of the Legal Services Act”, where she has advised both regulators and practitioners.
A particular theme of Patricia’s practice is litigation and advisory work relating to financial and legal services, requiring a multi-dimensional approach to novel problems. She combines a broad civil and commercial practice with niche expertise in areas as diverse as electronic commerce, plastic money, investment management and financial and legal services regulation.
