The High Court granted an injunction to stop ASLEF from holding a train drivers’ strike on the London Midland network on 23 December. Mr Justice Ramsey found that ASLEF had broken the rules governing union ballots on three grounds. Charles Béar QC and Paul Gott represented the employer, instructed by Bircham Dyson Bell LLP.
