Fountain Court is delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Taylor as its new Director of Clerking with effect from 31 March 2008. Alex joins us from his position as Senior Clerk at Old Square Chambers, a post he has held with distinction since 1994 (and where he may be known to some of our clients as John Taylor).
Alex started his clerking career at Fountain Court between 1979 and 1988, so he is in every sense coming home. Alex will lead Fountain Court’s clerking and will have overall control of and responsibility for the clerking of all members of Chambers. As well as heading our team of clerks, Alex will also be responsible for Chambers’ overall business development.
Mark Watson remains as our highly valued Senior Clerk, and his 34 years’ experience with Chambers will ensure full continuity of service.
