Acting (led by Simon Atrill KC) for the Fiat Chrysler defendants and (led by Leigh-Ann Mulcahy KC, Charlotte Tan and Alexander Thompson) for the Vauxhall defendants in one of The Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of 2025: a group claim by the owners and lessees of cars and vans who allege that the emissions control systems in their vehicles contained prohibited “defeat devices”.

Acting (led by Neil Kitchner KC, Simon Atrill KC and Alex Barden KC) for a listed company in a claim brought by former shareholders of its subsidiary, claiming for rectification of the subsidiary’s register of members pursuant to section 125 of the Companies Act 2006.

Acting (led by Robin Barclay KC) for a bank in claim to recover a c. £18m debt from several insurers under compromise agreements concluded following the sanctioning of the bank’s parent company.
