Fountain Court Chambers successfully hosted the first Female Advocates’ Breakfast event in Chambers today. The purpose is to bring female advocates together in an informal setting, creating a focal point for access to advice and role-models at a variety of levels of call, and to share experiences of the profession. The initiative has been driven by Leigh-Ann Mulcahy QC (call 1993, silk 2009) who joined Fountain Court in April 2017 and is one of the most highly-rated female silks at the Bar.

“Our chambers group came back hugely energised..and inspired…This sort of thing makes such a difference”.

“It was fantastic to meet women from a whole range of practice areas and levels of experience – from pupils to silks”

“This was a really enjoyable event and a fantastic initiative. I am looking forward to the next one!”

“As a pupil I find it enormously encouraging that Fountain Court has chosen to place itself front and centre behind this event, and I think that its support goes to show how supportive this profession can be.”
