Richard Handyside QC and Edward Levey successfully defended Nomura against a $22m claim brought by WestLB.  The case concerned the role of a Calculation Agent valuing the shares in a Mauritian investment fund in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of Lehmans.  The trial took place in the Commercial Court before Teare J and judgment was handed down on 11 November.
