Fountain Court’s Michael Green QC has been appointed as a Justice of the High Court, with effect from 4 November 2020. The Lord Chief Justice will assign him to the Chancery Division.

Michael was called to the Bar in 1987 and took Silk in 2009. He has been involved in various high-profile cases as counsel, spanning a broad Commercial and Chancery litigation practice with a particular focus on company, insolvency, financial services and tax. In 2018 Michael was appointed as a Deputy High Court Judge, sitting in the Chancery Division. In addition, he has significant experience overseas and has been admitted to the Bars of the BVI, Cayman Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Samoa and Uganda. Michael also served as Judge of the BVI Commercial Court in 2019.
