Fountain Court is very pleased to have Gaurav Pachnanda SA  join Chambers as a new door tenant with effect from 1 September 2016.

Gaurav is an experienced lawyer, a Senior Advocate at the Indian Bar and a Registered Foreign Lawyer at the Singapore International Commercial Court.

He read law at the University of Jammu (LL.B., 1996) and at Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford (B.C.L., 1997), where he was elected a Felix Scholar.

From 2010 to 2015, he was the Senior Additional Advocate General for the State of Jammu and Kashmir, at New Delhi for representing the State before the Supreme Court of India in cases involving intricate issues of administrative and constitutional law.

He is currently engaged in private practice as counsel and also sits as an arbitrator.

Gaurav’s private practice is focused mainly on commercial and corporate litigation. He has successfully represented clients like LG Household and Healthcare Limited, Pacific Convergence Corporation Limited, Aditya Birla Group in various commercial disputes, including several high profile international and domestic arbitrations.
