The FCA Business Interruption insurance test case resumes today for its second and final week. The expedited trial before Flaux LJ and Butcher J is considering whether sample Business Interruption insurance policies are required to respond to COVID-19-related losses. The case is the one of the most significant insurance disputes in recent years, and has been widely reported – see, for instance, the BBC, the FT and the Insurance Times.
