LawInSport has today published an article produced by Fountain Court’s Christopher Monaghan regarding guidance recently provided by the Premier League’s Independent Commission for clubs when faced with charges for alleged breaches of the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (‘PSR’). In a decision published by the Premier League in July, relating to Leicester City FC’s alleged breaches of the PSR, the Commission determined that it has both personal and temporal jurisdiction to determine the complaint.
The article analyses the decision and sets out the guidance provided by the Independent Commission. See here for the full piece.
This update follows an article produced by Fountain Court’s Nick Daly and Samuel Rabinowitz, also published by LawInSport, concerning challenges recently faced by Leicester City FC (see here).
