Levicom v. Linklaters
Judgment was handed down yesterday in the Commercial Court in the claim brought by Levicom against Linklaters. Levicom claimed damages running to millions of pounds alleging negligence on the part of Linklaters in advice they gave about an international telecoms dispute. In his Judgment, Mr Justice Andrew Smith held that Levicom did not suffer any loss as a result of Linklaters’ advice, and awarded Levicom nominal damages of £5.
