Seminars in London and Oxford 2016/2017 – LIFE AT THE BAR: IS IT FOR ME?

Fountain Court Chambers is holding two seminars in the next academic years on LIFE AT THE BAR: IS IT FOR ME?

Open to all students (law or non-law) or others thinking of a career at the Commercial Bar, with the aim of giving a real sense of what life at the bar and at Fountain Court is like, how barristers deal with work/life/family balance, a workshop on pupillage applications and other practical issues such as how to fund your route to the Bar. A series of short, practical presentations followed by drinks during which you can meet members of chambers and ask your own questions about being a commercial barrister.

The dates for these seminars are:

Thursday 10 November 2016, 5.30-7pm: Fountain Court Chambers, Temple, London EC4Y 9DH

Thursday 19 January 2017, 6-7.30 pm: All Souls College, Oxford

Fountain Court will pay reasonable travel expenses for students from outside London or Oxford wishing to attend either seminar. For further information please check this section of the website or contact Lucy Scutt.
