Javan Abass
Javan is the Marketing and Pupillage Assistant at Fountain Court. As Marketing Assistant she is responsible for organising all internal and external events; from the office Christmas party to client dinners and bespoke seminars. Javan works closely with the marketing and I.T. committee to maintain, update and develop the website. Her role as Pupillage Assistant requires her to be involved in the recruitment process for pupillages, mini-pupillages and unfunded pupillages. Javan is main point of contact for those who wish to apply for a career at the Bar. She attends Law Fairs and Open Days throughout the year.
Javan gained a BSc in Law and Psychology at the University of Kent at Canterbury and has worked in events and marketing since graduating. She is currently studying the BPTC part-time at BPP Law School and is a student member of Middle Temple Inn of Court. Javan is an enthusiastic traveller, and enjoys experiencing the cultures and traditions of different nations. She occasionally enjoys reading a trashy novel and likes to cycle around London when the sun is shining.
