Six members of Fountain Court have been placed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list in the new Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2017’s guide to outstanding lawyers in the Asia Pacific region. The ranked members of Chambers are: former Head of Chambers Michael Brindle QC, the current Head of Chambers Stephen Moriarty QC, Raymond Cox QC, the current deputy Head of Chambers Bankim Thanki QC, Timothy Howe QC and Jeffrey Chapman QC.
Chambers is celebrated for being “active in Singapore and the region, with a noteworthy strength in Hong Kong and Singaporean work. Work includes a range of commercial arbitrations, often touching on financial services, insurance and civil fraud”.
Stephen Moriarty QC and Michael Brindle QC continue to act on the panel of advisors to the Attorney-General of Singapore. Raymond Cox QC and Niamh Cleary were, along with eminent Singaporean lawyers, invited to contribute, to the leading practitioners’ text ‘Law and Practice of Commercial Litigation in Singapore’.
