Chris Paterson
Team Leader Assistant
Chris Paterson joined Fountain Court as a Team Leader’s Assistant in November 2009. Chris started clerking in 2003 and has had experience of both common and commercial law. He spent the last 4 years at 8 New Square, the specialist intellectual property chambers in Lincoln’s Inn
In 2009 Chris became an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) after completing their Professional Diploma in Marketing.
Chris currently assists Oliver Miney in the clerking of a team of 16 barristers ranging in call from Queen’s Counsel to junior members. Chris’ role in the team includes assisting Oliver in the development of members’ practices, negotiating fees, fee collection, assigning work and liaising with Instructing Solicitors on various matters.
Outside of work Chris’ interests include snowboarding, golf and travel.
