Summary of Practice
I have long and wide experience of advising and litigating about commercial problems and disputes of many kinds. In the field of insurance and reinsurance, particularly notable cases include, for example, Bonner v Cox (2006); Feasey v Sun Life (2003); The Grecia Express (2002); SAIL v Farex (1995); Henderson v Merrett (1995); Napier v Hunter (1993). I also advise extensively about problems connected with insurance regulation. I am regularly consulted and instructed in cases about domestic and international fraud, mergers and acquisitions (including professional negligence actions against banks and other advisers), banking and financial instruments generally, and international trade.
